peanut butter coco crazy pumpkins
Combine corn syrup, sugar, peanut butter and baking chips in a large non-stick saucepan. Cook over low heat until completely melted; stir in food color, a few drops at a time, until mixture is bright orange. Remove from heat and stir in cereal. Let mixture cool slightly; spray hands with non-stick cooking spray. Shape mixture into 12 pumpkins, using 1/3 cup per pumpkin. Place on a wax paper-lined baking sheet. Break pretzels into curved stems and place one in the top and center of each pumpkin. Cut gumdrops in half lengthwise and place 2 halves as leaves on the top of each pumpkin, sticky side on cereal. Let set completely.
Makes 12 pumpkins.
