cucumber yogurt sauce
Spread cucumber slices into a layer in a colander placed over a bowl; sprinkle with salt and let stand 15 minutes. Press water out of cucumber slices; empty water from bowl and place cucumber slices in bowl. Add yogurt, green onion, parsley, and 1 or 2 cloves garlic, according to taste; mix well. Cover and refrigerate while preparing battered fish fillets according to package directions. Serve sauce over fish fillets.
Makes 1-1/3 cup.
