with horseradish sauce
Preheat broiler. Cook onion in butter in medium skillet over medium heat until golden brown and slightly crispy, stirring occasionally, about 10 to 12 minutes. Cut tomato into 4 thick slices and place on broiler pan. Broil 3 inches from heat, until slightly charred, about 4 minutes. Spread ¼ cup herb and garlic cheese on each bread slice; top with arugula leaves. Lay 2 tomato slices on arugula leaves on each sandwich, top with 2 pieces smoked cheddar cheese. Loosely place half the roast beef on each sandwich. Drizzle sandwiches with horseradish sauce and sprinkle with paprika. Top each sandwich with fried onions.
